The Act of October 7th, 1999 on the Polish language (Journal of Laws of 2021, item 672) and the Ordinance of the Minister of Science and Higher Education of February 26th, 2016 on examinations in Polish as a foreign language (Journal of Laws of 2018, item 1386) constitute the basis for the system of conducting certified examinations in Polish as a foreign language and define detailed conditions, the procedure for conducting examinations and issuing certificates, as well as the standards of requirements for individual levels of proficiency.

 

The Maritime University of Szczecin organizes certified exams as an entity authorized to conduct these exams on the basis of the decision of the Minister of Education and Science No. 9/DWM/2022 of April 27th, 2022.
